ZPZ Goes to the Cirkus (and then Conan O'Brien!)

So, while in Munich, Germany, (during Oktoberfest, no less) we played at the Cirkus Krone, a venue that spends much of it's time hosting an actual circus, and the animals for said circus were housed in the same lot that our tour bus parked in. You never really know what to expect when stepping off the bus in the morning (or afternoon...), and seeing these faces was certainly not what I was expecting that day. The domed building behind the camels is the venue.
Well, we leave Monday for New York, where we'll be taping one of my favorite TV shows of all time Late Night with Conan O'Brien before starting our next tour on Halloween at the Beacon Theater. I can't even explain how excited I am for this, be sure to watch on Tuesday Oct. 30th to see if I actually burst onstage.
And, of course, check www.zappaplayszappa.com for news and tourdates, including the imminent release of our live DVD from last year. Next stop, Australia...

Nice! Don’t get that show ’round these parts but thanks to the ‘net I tracked it down.
Nice job by all! Looking forward to getting that DVD.
